About our Coaches
HEALTH COACH, INSTITUTE FOR INTEGRATIVE NUTRITION,
Ashley Coates
Wellness, nutrition, and the outdoors have long been central to my life and professional focus. Throughout my life, I have pursued a deeper understanding of optimal health through research and personal practice. To formalize that training, I studied at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition.
I see health coaching as the meeting point of heart and mind — empathy as an art, analytics as a science. I love bringing clarity to complex information and walking alongside people as they uncover what’s possible for them. Gathering information into clear, actionable steps and supporting clients in implementing sustainable behavioral change, I believe measurable progress is possible when insight is uncovered. I deeply believe that every person has the capacity to change and to thrive.
My background in outdoor education, program development, risk management, and customer service — along with degrees in Environmental Studies (BA) and Small Business & Entrepreneurship (MBA) — reflects my love of both structure and creativity. I’m also co‑owner, with my husband, of an outdoor store in Southern California, where authenticity, community and nature are strong values for well-being.
In my personal time, I remain active through hiking, camping, swimming, gardening, and community involvement, including board service for a nonprofit orchestra. My long-term vision is to offer Health Coach Hikes — integrating movement, nature, and structured coaching conversations in an outdoor setting, creating space for meaningful conversations.
HEALTH COACH, INSTITUTE FOR INTEGRATIVE NUTRITION,
Elena Rossi
When life asked me to redefine who I was, I felt a profound shift. That moment sparked a journey of self-discovery, one centered on learning how we can truly live well, feel well, and thrive. Following that calling, I became a certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach to help others do the same.
My life’s work has always been about connection — between people, cultures, purpose, and possibility. Having lived in three countries, I have experienced firsthand the richness and complexity of people, different cultures, perspectives, and lifestyles. These experiences have deeply shaped my understanding of the human experience and strengthened my commitment to building bridges across communities.
For over two decades, I have led social impact and sustainability initiatives, working at the intersection of purpose and action. I’ve partnered with organizations, refugees, young people, and changemakers to create pathways toward dignity and opportunity for them. That same devotion to human potential now lives at the heart of my health coaching practice.
The health coach process is a deepening, a return to wisdom, strength, and authentic vitality. Through my work, I hold space for transformation, guiding people to reconnect with their bodies, their purpose, and the life they are ready to claim. This is not just about health and nutrition, it is about coming home to yourself.
Elena is based in Ireland and available online. Consultations available in English & Italian. Good understanding of Spanish.
